• Proper Syntax:

• QUOTE - Stock quotes for US and Canadian stocks. (15 minutes delayed!)
  RTQUOTE - Real-Time ECN Stock quotes for certain US stocks (including before/after hours trading).
• If you put in one symbol, a more detailed quote will be retrieved (QUOTE).
• You can input multiple symbols, this will give a basic quote for the list of stocks.
• For US stocks, just enter the symbol (whether it's NYSE or Nasdaq does not matter), e.g. QUOTE IBM+AOL.
• For Canadian stocks, use ".TO" for TSE, ".M" for MSE, ".V" for VSE & ASE (VSE and ASE have merged), e.g. QUOTE ATY.TO+BMO.M+RY.TO
• For Class A or Class B shares, just attach "A" or "B" to the end of the symbol. No "." is necessary. E.g. Microcell B is "MTIB.TO"
• Use stock quote with caution; please use other ways to verify the quote accuracy.
• For detailed quote with single stock symbol, the following info will be displayed:
  Last trade time; last trade price; change from previous close (with percentage); volume ("Vol:"); day range low/high ("Day:"); year range low/high ("Yr:"); earnings per share EPS ("E/S:"); price to earnings ratio ("P/E:"); yield ("Y:")
• For RTQUOTE, "B/A:" is the current Bid/Ask price of the ECN networks, and this may not be the same as that of the marketplace.
  When Real-Time ECN data is not available for that particular stocks, the standard 15-20 min delayed quote is displayed instead. This should be apparent from the last trade time.

• 411: Canada Business Telephone Directory.
  411R: Residential or personal telephone numbers.
• If you do put in the C=City+Name field, the spelling must be EXACT and COMPLETE. Partial city name or wrong spelling would result in failed search. My suggestion is to leave out C=City+Name unless you expect many matches.
• P=AA - 2 letter standard postal Province Code:
  AB, BC, MB, NF, NB, NT, NS, ON, PE, QC, SK or YT
• Currently, only the top 16 matched numbers will be displayed to limit the number of SMS sent. If there are 1 or 2 matched numbers, the street address will be displayed. If there are more than 2 (or 4 in 411R) matched numbers, only the name and the phone numbers will be displayed.
• Sending 411 or 411R alone will give you a help message with usage format.
• Name field is required.
  C= field and P= field (or F= field in 411R) is optional.
• Suggestions: leave out city field if you expect one or two matches.
  Use city field for companies with many locations such as banks, franchise stores etc. to narrow down the search.
• Known problem: For result with very long company name and/or very long address which take up most of 2 lines, the script may count this as 2 results displayed; resulting in the number of displayed numbers being less than expected (9).

• Proper Syntax:

  411 name C=city name P=AA
  411R last name F=first name C=city name P=AA

• Real-time National Hockey League, National Basketball Association, National Football League, Major League Baseball scoreboard of the team you specified in "cityname" with live updates during the game.
• If no team is specified, the default team Toronto will be used.
• For NHL, NFL & NBA, if you use "NHL ALL" or "NBA ALL", all the scores on that day will be displayed.
• Do note that MLB ALL will result in large number of SMS/Email response. It frequently takes 8 or 9 Emails for the complete results. MLB now have play-by-play updates.
• City names should be used; except when there are two teams in the same city - in this case, use team names instead (e.g. use "Mets" and "Yankees" instead of "New York"; "Islanders" and "Rangers" instead of "New York"; "Clippers" and "Lakers" instead of "Los Angeles").
• Single word full or partial name can be used as long as it is unique. (e.g. for "Montreal" you can use "mont" or "treal") It won't work if it is not unique (e.g. "San" will match both San Diego and San Francisco; "Chi" will match both Chicago teams and unrelated words such as "pitching").
• Do NOT use special/wild card characters such as " * ", " . " or " ? "; they are not necessary.
  Do NOT put spaces; for city name with two words such as Los Angeles, you can use "Los" or "Angeles" as long as it is unique.
• Examples:

• Proper Syntax:

• "F1" gives you the last Formula One race results (or latest practice or qualifying results), drivers championship standings, and constructors championship standings (Top 6 positions).
• "F1 LIVE" gives you live update on any ongoing race.
• "F1 QUAL" gives you live update on any qualifying sessions. After the sessions, it gives you the grid positions and time of qualifications.
• Default no of SMS is 2. Use "MAX=n" to increase or decrease the number.
  E.g. you can use "F1 LIVE MAX=1" if you are just interested the top few positions.
